MacBeth Shakespeare Edition, für die "belesenen"

Alliances and joint efforts that meet ruthless ambition and tough power struggles:

The Scottish whisky industry is like Macbeth, Lexi Livingstone Burgess realised, laying the foundation for the dramaturgy of an impressive whisky collection. Together with Elixir Distillers, the founder of Livingstone and Burgess Studio, known for creative design work in the field of Scotch, cast whiskies in the fantastic characters of Shakespeare's tragedy.

From old single casks to expressive malt and grain whiskies to rarities from closed distilleries: the Macbeth Collection will bring a total of 42 individual characters to the whisky stage.

Each of the limited edition bottlings is illustrated by the established artist Sir Quentin Blake with the corresponding figure and provided with notes that whisky author Dave Broom has packaged in lyrical prose.

The Macbeth Collection consists of six series: The Leads (5 majestic malts), The Thanes (12 noble malts), The Ghosts (6 "ghost distilleries"), The Witches (3 malts and a blend), The Murderers (4 island malts) and The Household (10 characterful whiskies). The whiskies in the series will be released in three annual releases until 2025.

Act One marks the start this year with 9 bottlings...and here you can go directly to the products
