Turntable X Dingle Collaboration Drop 02 - Blend 2024
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 52% | Non-chill-filtered | No coloring
Description
Ireland extends a powerful hand to Scotland:
Turntable combines single pot still whiskey with Scotch
Breaking expectations is Turntable's lifeblood. But the Irish Dingle Distillery is also well-versed in this approach—for example, as the first independent distillery to release single pot still whiskey in over a century. For the Turntable x Dingle – Collaboration Drop 02, the blending house and the tradition-keepers join forces.
At the heart of this blended whisky are the spicy notes of a Dingle Single Pot Still Whiskey matured in Oloroso hogsheads. These are underscored by the blending of Scottish single malt and single grain whiskey from rye barrels, PX Sherry Puncheons, and first-fill bourbon casks. The result? A full-bodied and robust dram at 52% ABV that blends cigar spices and raisin chocolate with marzipan, nutmeg, and citrus fruits to create a complex yet rounded finish.
