The molasses rum was first matured in the tropical climate of Trinidad. On the European continent, it then spent most of its maturation time in bourbon barrels and was refined for twelve months in Oloroso sherry casks.
Despite its cask strength of 53.4% ABV, the Single Domaine Rum surprises with a sweet aroma, permeated with dried fruits and the fresh, mineral properties of grass and watercress. Creamy, it coats the palate with dark fruit notes before finishing with caramel, orange and peppery notes.
