The Temple Bar 15 Year Old is a special bottling by owner Tom Cleary of The Temple Bar. It was bottled to mark the 175th anniversary of Temple Bar. This bottling is intended to celebrate the hospitality and joy of the bar. The Temple Bar was founded in 1840 as a wine and spirits merchant. Even today, it is the meeting place for young and old in the vibrant Temple Bar district of Dublin. For this bottling, the best bourbon casks of the 15-year-old single malt were selected and bottled at 40%. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes in a beautiful gift box. The casks for this whiskey were stored in the cellars of Temple Bar for the entire 15 years. The whiskey was distilled in small pot stills. It has a very distinctive and harmonious flavor. Fruity notes harmonize wonderfully with wood tones.
