In his honor, the rum is produced according to the Prohibition tradition at the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados: without the addition of sweeteners, flavors, or chemical stabilizers, but with the finest blackstrap molasses and pure spring water.
Distilled in small batches in a rare combination of copper pot and column stills, it is matured in heavily charred bourbon barrels or sherry casks. The result? A rum that was the first of its kind to be crowned "Supreme Champion" at the 2018 ISC.
The brand's flagship product and a standard for the home bar is The Real McCoy 5 yo. With dried fruits, brown sugar, roasted almonds and spices, it tastes great on its own or in premium cocktails.

With The Real McCoy Rum, documentary filmmaker and brand founder Bailey Pryor and Foursquare Master Distiller Richard Seale bring the story of Bill McCoy to life.
