Blended Whiskey Red Earl Blended Irish Whiskey is a combination of ex-bourbon cask-aged Irish grain whiskey and triple-distilled malt whiskey that was aged for 45 months in ex-sherry casks. The casks were then blended and matured for a further four months in ex-Rioja casks. The Rioja casks were selected for their spicy fruit notes and out of respect for Red Earl, who was laid to rest near the Rioja region of Spain.
