For the Lum-Reek-21, Billy Walker married Speyside and Islay single malt with whisky from GlenAllachie. The result: a harmony of peat and fruit.
The 48% bottling 21 yo was given extensive time in Spanish sherry casks, French oak and virgin oak casks.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Subtle peat smoke, dark chocolate, runny honey and vanilla custard.

Palate: Old leather, cedar and gentle undertones of peat alongside oodles of cocoa, vanilla pods and sweet spices.

Last summer, the brand known for its award-winning, smoky blended malt whiskies experienced a revival as a home for premium small-batch bottlings. Masterfully supervised by whisky expert Billy Walker, they mature in selected, innovative casks and are neither chill-filtered nor colored when they are bottled in the elegant, heavy bottles. The first bottling in cask strength is now available.

For his Lum Reek Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 10 yo, Billy Walker marries vintage single malts from the Highlands, Speyside and the Isle of Islay with matured GlenAllachie single malt. The result: harmony of peat and fruit. The blended malt scotch matures in high-quality Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak casks, which refine its peaty, smoky and rich, fruity character. The full aroma unfolds at a natural cask strength of 55.4% vol.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Waves of smoke, heather honey and ginger merging with cinnamon, syrup and vanilla.
Palate: Rich dark chocolate, ginger and citrus, with smoked spices, plantains and tannins.
