Lochlea Fallow Edition ends the Seasonal Releases
In recent years, Lochlea's seasonal small batch releases have showcased the independent, family-run farm distillery's signature style in four different ways. As a working farm, Lochlea tailors its bottlings to reflect the seasonal processes taking place on the farm in the Lowlands south of Glasgow.
The popular Lochlea Fallow Edition (Third Crop) from sherry casks is dedicated to the end of the season – and now fittingly marks the end of the series.
For the final bottling, Lochlea selected exclusively first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. Rich and matured for an additional year, the Lowland single malt offers a fruity and spicy experience with notes of baked apple, date, honey, nutty malt bread, and pepper.
