Great Earl Single Grain Irish Whiskey 0.7 l
Great Earl , Single Grain Whiskey, Vol.: 40%
Hugh "The Great Earl" O'Neill rescued Red Hugh O'Donnell after his escape from Dublin Castle and at the Battle of Kinsale in 1601 they fought side by side with "The Spanish Earl" Juan del Aguila.
He left Ireland in 1607 during the Flight of the Earls. He died nine years later in Rome, where he remains buried. A fresco in Vatican City immortalized the "Great Earl."
A friend of kings, popes, and leaders, his deeds are not only recorded in the history books but also live on in this single grain Irish whiskey. The whiskey was first aged in Rechar and Virgin Oak casks and then finished in Italian Sangiovese red wine casks, as a tribute to his final days in Rome.
Great Earl Irish Whiskey, a triple-cask whiskey, is as fearless as its namesake.
