Description
Glencadam Master Distiller Robert Fleming demonstrates the complex influence of butts, barrels and barriques – all pre-aged with (fortified) wines – in the Wood Finish series, consisting of eight single malts that are neither chill-filtered nor coloured and are of ideal drinking strength.
To refine their Glencadam Reserva PX, the Highlanders rely on sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry butts. The result? A luscious gold medal winner with notes of maple syrup, Black Forest gateau, candied ginger, and espresso.
