Description
It was a win for lovers of single malt Scotch when Billy Walker and Co. brought The GlenAllachie back into independent hands in 2017 and made their powerful Speyside whisky available in its pure form. For the GlenAllachie 2014/2023, it was filled into an Oloroso Sherry Hogshead, where it matured for almost a decade. The interplay of oak and distillate produced a smooth dram full of charisma - with notes of marzipan, cherry and banana bread.
