Description
Since the takeover by Billy Walker and Co. in 2017, there has only been one direction for The GlenAllachie: up. One of the key building blocks for the Speyside distillery's upward trend? The outstanding cask inventory. This is based on mostly first-fill casks of high quality - mostly pre-filled with fortified wines.
The GlenAllachie 2011/2024 demonstrates the influence of a single Ruby Port Pipe on the single malt from The GlenAllachie - exclusively for the German market. The twelve-year-old single cask, at a cask strength of 55.9% ABV, marries characteristic notes of mocha and heather honey with red berries, ginger and strong chocolate, and dusts currant cake with cinnamon.
