The single cask for the German market is a limited-edition treasure and is packaged accordingly elegantly: the outside of the gift box is embossed with gold and numbered by hand, and the inside is lined with soft velvet. The Speyside single malt, limited to 768 bottles, has been maturing in the dark-fruity Ruby Port Pipe since August 2008. Bottled at cask strength, it develops delicious notes of red berries, dark chocolate, cinnamon and a little marzipan.
