Glen Moray 15 yo American & Sherry Cask
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill-filtered | With colorant
Description
The town of Elgin is sheltered by the Cairngorm Mountains and has been home to Glen Moray for over 125 years. The mild Speyside climate offers the best conditions for distilling and maturing the distillery's world-renowned single malts. Craftsmanship and continuity are the main focus of their production. Only five master distillers have been responsible for Glen Moray's style, which is characterized by complexity and fine fruitiness.
The multi-gold award-winning Glen Moray 12 yo develops its complex, full-bodied taste of dark berries, vanilla and wood spice in the finest American oak barrels. In the Glen Moray 15 yo, however, sherry and American oak barrels merge - for a complex profile of dried fruits, dark chocolate and spices.
At 47.2% ABV, which is not chill-filtered, the Glen Moray 18 yo develops intense notes of roasted oak, caramelized fruit and spices that linger for a long time. This jewel of the Heritage Collection is matured exclusively in new American oak barrels.
