The Glasgow Distillery is also distilling a new whisky chapter in the history of its home city with varied small-batch bottlings. The Glasgow 1770 7 yo – Marsala Wine Cask matured completely in three barriques that were pre-filled with the Italian liqueur wine.
The barrels were filled with peated Glasgow malt in early August 2017 before being married together and bottled at cask strength on September 23, 2024. The result: lush notes of apple compote, smoky bacon, salted caramel, blackberries and stone fruit.

With its taste profile celebrated around the world, the Glasgow 1770 Peated quickly became the flagship of the independent, urban Glasgow Distillery.
