Description

Two established independent bottlers are planning a coup: to supply enthusiasts with exceptional rums beyond the mainstream. The code name? Dos Delinquentes. Now the union of Wu Dram Clan and FRC is presenting its first masterpiece with the Enmore EHP 1998/2024.

The eye-catching label already suggests that this single cask is multi-layered - not only in terms of taste, but also in terms of its history. On the one hand, the Guyana rum was distilled in the wooden Coffey still, which was built in 1832 in the Enmore Sugar Estate founded by Edward Henry Porter. The brand for the rums from the still is named after his initials, EHP, which is now the only one of its kind in the world in operation in the Diamond complex of the Demerara Distillers.

On the other hand, it stands out because of its maturation. Shipped to Great Britain in 1998, the Enmore EHP was initially stored in bourbon barrels. In April 2000, it was transferred to Armagnac casks and finally to second fill rum barrels in February 2008.

The bottling in 2024 was carried out directly from a single cask. Without any additives, 204 bottles with a cask strength of 49.3% vol. were secured for fans.
