For the Powerscourt Distillery, the owners converted the old mill building from 1890. An impressive new building houses the production facility. Three individually manufactured copper pot stills are the heart of the distillery. Master Distiller Noel Sweeney closely monitors the processes here. With over thirty years of experience in the Irish whiskey industry, he is the right man in the right place. Master Distiller Noel Sweeney brought the whiskey with him from his old employer. Three bottlings have been released under the Fercullen brand.

The Fercullen Premium Blend consists of aged malt whiskey and grain whiskey. It was stored in carefully selected, spicy oak barrels. Its mildness is perfect and is accompanied by a unique depth of flavor. This comes from the rich offering of grain, malt and roasted oak.
