For the annual release, the distillery team selected special whiskeys from the warehouse. Whiskeys with a clear sherry influence. The result is a marriage of 21-year-old single malts from ex-bourbon casks with a selection of single malts with Oloroso and PX sherry finishes. Paul Corbett, Maste Distiller, of the Powerscourt Distillery, felt it was important to select sherry and bourbon casks that harmonize well with each other. The result is a whiskey with a rich sherry influence that combines wonderfully with the elegant, creamy notes of the ex-bourbon cask matured whiskey.

Fercullen 21 Years Single Malt 2023 is the second bottling in the annual series, each of which prominently features the respective year on the label. Only a limited number of the limited bottles are available in Germany.
