The second release of the Connacht Distillery is their Flaship Whiskey - The Spirit of the Atlantic
Like Batch 1, Spriti of the Atlantic is distilled from 100% Hook Head Series Ale Malt from Minch Malt, a malt generally used by craft distillers and unique to Connacht Whiskey.
This whiskey is between 5 and 6 years old. First, the single malt is matured in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in Oloroso sherry barrels from Spain. The whiskey is not chill-filtered and does not contain any coloring. It is bottled at 44.8%
