This single malt whisky from House of MacDuff comes from an unnamed Highland distillery. It is a delicate, still quite young malt with plenty of toffee notes, honey and nutty aromas. A wonderful "everyday dram" to enjoy, not just on Burn's Night.
Tasting notes
Colour: Light amber
Nose: Biscuit, honey, malt, lots of toffee
Palate: Initially slightly floral, then notes of honey and almonds, again lots of sweet toffee
Finish: quite short, slightly peppery, hints of tobacco and sultanas
Conclusion: A quite sweet, pleasant dram that goes particularly well with the haggis on Burn's Night on January 25th.
