Blacks Brewery and Distillery is a beer brewery and whiskey distillery in the beautiful little port town of Kinsale. Sam Black and his wife opened a brewery and distillery here. They only started whiskey distillation in 2020, so they are currently still working with purchased whiskey.

Black OPS is a special blended Irish whiskey. This whiskey was first allowed to mature in bourbon and sherry casks before being finished in an extra heavily burnt bourbon cask. This finish gave the whiskey a light smoky note and an extra dark color.

The whiskey is not colored and not chill-filtered.
