Redbreast Lustau Edition Sherry Finish
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 46% | Not chill-filtered | With colorant
Description
The Redbreast whiskeys are venerable representatives of the traditional single pot still Irish whiskeys. Neither a blend nor a single malt, distillates from this complex Irish category are produced in a single distillery from malted and unmalted barley, distilled in a traditional copper still. As is typical for the Irish style, the Midleton Distillery also sends its vapors through the pot still three times. The result: the wonderfully mild, aromatic Redbreast raw spirit.
The Redbreast Lustau owes its name to the Spanish Bodega Lustau, from which the Oloroso Sherry Casks for the maturation of the Irish Whiskey come. Their effect? More complexity with sweet sherry notes, apricots, cinnamon and nuts.
