JJ Corry, The Gael is a blended Irish whiskey and consists of: 49.5% various single malts, 50% single grain whiskey and 0.5% top note single malt.

JJ Corry The Gael is bottled at 46%, is non-chill-filtered, and no coloring has been added. 1,860 bottles were produced for the third batch.

The Gael is named after a bicycle invented by whiskey bonder JJ Corry in the 1890s. JJ Corry was born in the township of Cooraclare, where The Chapel Gate is now based. It was here that he bonded and blended whiskey in his shop and pub at 63 Henry Street, Kilrush from the 1890s until his death in 1932. The Chapel Gate Irish Whiskey Company is Ireland's only whiskey bonder and they currently age their whiskey in the Rackhouse, a warehouse on the McGuane Family Farm in Cooraclare, County Clare, Ireland.
