Great Earl Single Grain Irish Whiskey 0.7 l
Great Earl , Single Grain Whiskey, Vol.: 40 %
Hugh "The Great Earl" O'Neill rescued Red Hugh O'Donnell after his escape from Dublin Castle and in the Battle of Kinsale in 1601 they fought side by side with "The Spanish Earl" Juan del Aguila.
In 1607 he left Ireland during the Flight of the Earls and died nine years later in Rome, where he is still buried. A fresco in Vatican City has immortalized the "Great Earl".
A friend of kings, popes and leaders, his deeds are not only recorded in the history books but also live on in this single grain Irish whiskey. First aged in Rechar and Virginoak casks, the whiskey was then finished in Italian Sangiovese red wine casks as a tribute to his final days in Rome.
Great Earl Irish Whiskey, a triple-cask whiskey is as fearless as its namesake.
