Williamson 2014/2024 - 10 yo - 1st Fill Palo Cortado Butt #249 - Best Dram
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 62% | Not chill-filtered | No coloring
Tasting Notes
Nose: Typical Laphroaig smoke with phenolic, ashy, maritime, slightly salty characteristics, complemented by nutty and air-dried ham notes that become fattening after a while. Despite the high strength, no alcohol is detectable.
Palate: Creamy mouthfeel. Phenolic notes and cold ash are replaced by a sweet wave. A subtle salty note is noticeable, complemented by nuts and green bacon. Here, too, no trace of the 62% vol.
Finish: Very long and phenolic, with fading sweetness.
