Glenallachie 2005/2023 - 18 yo - 1st Fill Amarone Hogshead #901061 - Best Dram
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 53.7% | Not chill-filtered | No coloring
Tasting Notes
Nose: Pleasant fruity sweetness of bacon cherries, which turns into marble cake with a higher chocolate content.
Palate: Almost creamy, then chocolatey, followed by notes of red fruits, with cherry leading the way. This is followed by tangy red currants. After a longer time in the glass, the aromas increasingly blend and a sunken cherry cake emerges.
Finish: Chocolate cake with sunken cherries until the end.
