Something amazing can happen in just three years. Just as a first-class whisky needs time to mature, Brave New Spirits has also experienced a rapid rise. Launched in 2020 by pioneers from the whisky world, this dynamic bottler and blender now distributes Scottish whisky pearls in over 30 nations.
Adam Hochul, Alexander Springensguth and their team tap from their own hidden barrel warehouse in Glasgow - always exclusive, often limited, sometimes from just a single barrel. And they're far from finished! A second warehouse is about to be unveiled. But the real highlight: a brand new distillery.
The Witchburn Distillery will soon enrich Campbeltown, Scotland's smallest whisky region, with its presence. By the end of 2024, drops of a distinctive, deep and full-bodied Campbeltown malt will be produced here. What's special: Brave New Spirits is transforming an abandoned industrial ruin into one of the future greenest whisky distilleries ever.
Who will steer this ambitious ship? None other than Master Distiller Andrew Nairn, formerly at the helm of Glenkinchie, Strathmill and the Borders Distillery. He will oversee the production of up to 2 million litres per year. The adventure has only just begun!
