We now have a thoroughly exceptional single malt Irish whiskey from the Powerscourt Distillery on offer for you. The new Fercullen 23 year old single malt not only has one of the oldest age statements to date from the bottler from County Wicklow. The single cask bottling also stands out in terms of taste after 30 months of maturation in an ex-mezcal cask. Before that, the malt whiskey spent over 20 years in ex-bourbon casks. This long influence of the bourbon casks shines through pleasantly with warm honey aromas and roasted notes. But the long storage time in the mezcal cask added fresh and almost tangy notes to the whiskey. This makes Fercullen 23 year old single malt a really special whiskey that will know how to surprise you.
