The Signatory Old School Malt was carefully blended in the 1990s from 104 single malt Scotch whiskies of different vintages and then matured to perfection in sherry butts.

However, the youngest components spent a total of at least(!) 31 years in oak barrels

The blend composition is likely to bring tears of joy to the eyes of seasoned Scotch fans: It includes precious single malts from distilleries that are now closed and/or demolished.

These include irreplaceable whiskies from Banff, Brora, Coleburn or Dallas Dhu, Glen Mhor, Killyloch and Littlemill as well as Lochside and Port Ellen.
