Tasting Notes

Nose: Typical Barbados aromas, candied fruits, light wood spice and some molasses.

Palate: Very mild and soft with a slightly bitter sweetness of dark chocolate. Vanilla and coconut give way to tropical fruit notes with hints of wild berries. This is complemented by fine woody notes.

Finish: Long-lasting with vanilla, wood spice and subtle coconut notes.

With Sea Shepherd Rum, we are presenting a bottling that is intoxicatingly sea-going. Firmly rooted in maritime history, this tasty tipple from the rum nations of Barbados and Jamaica is now arriving in this country. With its vanilla, coconut and fruit notes, it transports you to tropical beaches - and to living environments that need to be protected.

The rum has a clear mission: to support Sea Shepherd's fight against whalers, poachers and environmental offenders. Known for its courageous intervention, Sea Shepherd sets sail from ports around the world when marine animals and their habitats are in distress. Because real environmental pirates know that on the high seas, far from international authorities, protective laws fade. As Sea Shepherd founder Captain Paul Watson once said: "It takes a pirate to stop a pirate."
