Description
Fielden (previously known as The Oxford Artisan Distillery) is English whisky that is transforming agriculture. Unlike most distilleries, Fielden works with select farms that are bringing England's fields back to life. How? By growing ancient grains that grew there centuries ago. In fields planted with clover, a natural fertilizer that maintains soil health, the grains grow big and strong - for whisky full of flavor.
The Fielden Rye Whisky is the distillery's first core product. It is based on rye and barley malt as well as unmalted rye and wheat. After distillation in a combination of pot and column stills, it matures in American oak and wine barrels. The result: a silky smooth taste of warm puff pastry, butter and caramel.
Fielden has spared no effort for this rustic mission. The rye is filled into a new bottle with high-quality fittings. The foiled, embossed grain motif of the label is continued on the elaborately customized copper cap of the cork made of microgranulate and activated carbon.
