The small Isle of Raasay is not only home to a dedicated whisky community, but also the namesake of this exceptional single malt. Inspired by the island's highest peak, Dùn Caan , this limited second edition combines tradition with innovation.

As is typical for the distillery, this whisky combines peated and unpeated distillates . After initial maturation in rye casks, it was intensively refined in 125-liter Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry quarter casks from Bodega Miguel Martin.

Compared to the First Edition, Dùn Cana is even more complex and profound – a single malt that delights in its natural form with 52% ABV and without chill filtration or coloring.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Peppery spice, dried sultanas, roasted nuts
• Palate: Full-bodied with vanilla, dark fruits and fine wood smoke
• Finish: Long-lasting, salty chocolate, subtle smoky notes and aromatic oak
