Tasting notes
Colour: reddish-golden amber
Nose: Peaty and sweet. The tannins of the Grand Cru Bordeaux wine are clearly noticeable.
Palate: Peat notes, well integrated and paired with the sweetness and tannins of the red wine barrel.
Finish: Long, peaty and spicy. Oak.
Conclusion: The stronger Granbd Cru is noticeable compared to the sister bottling from the Chateau La Louviere cask.

This whisky was created from Scottish malt whiskies by Master Distiller John McDougall and bottled uncoloured and non-chill-filtered after a finish of over 2 months in Grand Cru red wine barrels from the Château Pipeau winery in St. Emilion.
