Tasting notes
Colour: light amber
Nose: fine, not too dominant juniper note, paired with toffee and caramel tones.
Palate: buttery soft. The juniper is clearly overlaid with aromas of toffee, caramel and dark chocolate
Finish: Medium long and pleasant.
Recommendation:
This gin should preferably be drunk neat.
As a gin and tonic, the combination of a neutral Indian tonic water with about a dozen fresh coffee beans has proven to be a good choice. Very delicious!
Another variation is the combination with Mediterranean Tonic and a slice of blood orange.

Origin
This gin was aged for 10 years in fresh oak barrels and then another 10 years in ex-whisky barrels. To give the finished product a fresh juniper note, it was mixed with the non-barrel-aged London Dry Gin in a ratio of 50.50 before bottling.
