Together with whiskey bonder Maurice O'Connell from Killarney, we are releasing a new Storehouse Special exclusively for our sherry fans. This time, the cask virtuoso is treating us to an exceptional sherry finish. The Liberator Malt in Cream Sherry Finish is a double distilled malt that, after 8 years, was given a 6-month finish in a cream sherry cask. Bottled at cask strength of 57.1%, the whiskey from this very special cask has strong caramel aromas, Brazil nuts come through, and a distinctly spicy sweetness. This is accompanied by a hint of cloves and figs. A profile that will delight every sherry fan.
