Description

Samuel Gelston was a successful man. In 1830, the wine and whisky merchant from Belfast laid the foundation for the brand "Gelston's Old Irish Whiskey". When he died in 1869, a young whisky enthusiast entered the scene: Harry J. Neill. Having just returned to his hometown from Australia as a wealthy gold digger, he acquired the company and successfully expanded it internationally.

Around 150 years and five generations later, Johnny Neill is reviving his great-great-grandfather's legacy. The family business cooperates with leading Irish distilleries to produce a diverse range of whiskeys. The portfolio includes a diverse NAS single malt, a 5-year-old and exclusive single malt Irish whiskeys up to 15 years old with various finishes. Also recently added to the range: a characterful pot still Irish whiskey, distilled in a single distillery from a mixture of malted and unmalted barley in the traditional pot still.
