Foxes Bow is a classic, straightforward blended Irish whiskey – matured in bourbon barrels and finished in sherry and rye barrels.

While one type of cask is the industry standard, finishing in former rye whiskey casks is still unusual in Irish whiskey. Foxes Bow is a whiskey that shares a bold and bright character with its place of origin, Limerick.

Artists in Limerick find their "colors" for their new creations in the old grimness of the city, as well as in the brightly colored paintings all over the city walls. These inspired Foxes Bow to make bold, creative whiskeys that they don't normally make. That's why each release features a painting by a Limerick artist. The label of Release 01 shows a collaboration with John Slade of HY T Studio, who is from Limerick and currently lives in London.
