We now have a brand new release from Whiskey Bonder WD O'Connell from Waterford in our range for you. WD O'Connell Small Batch 5 Years Amontillado Cask Finish is a single malt whiskey that the Great Northern Distillery distilled in 2018. The raw spirit was then stored in ex-bourbon barrels for four years. Finally, in April 2022, owner Daithí O'Connell filled the whiskey into his own Amontillado-style sherry casks. After a finish of over a year, the bottle is bottled at 50%. A great whiskey and the start of a new series dedicated to exploring different sherry finishes.
