The Redbreast 18 years is now part of the Redbreast whiskey range. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, oloroso sherry and cream sherry casks. It also contains a portion of Redbreast that was matured in ruby ​​port casks. Cream sherry and ruby ​​port are two types of cask that are rarely found in Redbreast whiskeys, resulting in a new but also familiar taste profile.

The typical cassis notes of Redbreast Whiskey can also be found in this bottling. These are paired with chocolate notes and tannins, which give the whiskey a sweet taste.
