It was a natural process that Micil followed: from bontanical-infused Poitin to a unique West of Ireland Gin. For their gin they have used local ingredients as the main ingredient, such as bog oak, hawthorn, heather and the locally harvested Connemara Bogbean, which is already used in Poitin.

The gin has an intense citrus note on the nose, with a hint of heather and gallows bush. On the palate, there is the classic juniper with sweet liquorice, warm spice and a velvety long aftertaste. Orange zest was distilled again for this Spiced Orange Gin. This gives the gin a lovely orange note and spicier notes.
