It was a natural process that Micil followed: from the bontanical-infused Poitin to a unique West of Ireland Gin. For their gin they used local ingredients as the main ingredients, such as bog myrtle, hawthorn, heather and the locally harvested Connemara bogwort, which is already used in the Poitin.

The gin has an intense citrus note on the nose, with a hint of heather and gallows bush. On the palate there is the classic juniper with sweet liquorice, warm spice and a velvety long aftertaste.
