We have another gin from the Connacht Distillery in our range for you. The Kookie Gin is the result of a collaboration between three parties. The Irish radio presenter, entertainer and comedian Alan Clark is behind the brand. Like the Connacht Distillery, he calls County Mayo his home. The Kookie Gin was created together with the distillery and under the leadership of our gin expert Julia Nourney. The expert chose bergamot and rose petals as additional main botanicals. The result with 42.4 percent vol. is more than impressive! It was no coincidence that the first batch of Kookie Gin sold out quickly in Ireland. We are all the more pleased to now be able to offer the second batch to German specialist retailers.

Aroma: initially very fresh with clear zest notes, but the framework is formed by clear juniper and coriander notes, which have both floral and herbal effects. A restrained sweetness is evident in the form of bitter orange marmalade

Taste: amazingly spicy and very complex, now the oiliness of the juniper is apparent, the coriander seeds have a citrusy effect like blood orange zest and candied orange peel, in the background there is a piquant bitter note like that of sloes and other wild fruits, herbal and subtle floral notes complement the overall impression

Aftertaste: the juniper note remains oily on the palate, slightly floral bitter notes fade away very slowly.
