The Hanson is a blended grain whiskey made from 5 to 11 year old single grain whiskeys. The different whiskeys come from different distilleries in Ireland and matured in Kentucky and Tennessee bourbon barrels.
For The Hanson, barrels from three different flavor blocks are chosen to combine the different flavors in one whiskey.
The result is a classic and very fruity Irish whiskey that is smooth with a distinct woody note, warm vanilla notes and roasted aromas. The whiskey was bottled at 46%, without coloring and without chill filtration.
