Fercullen Italian Gardens Estate Series 2 Amarone Finish 0.7 l
Fercullen Italian Gardens Estate Series 2 , Blended Whiskey, Vol.: 46%
The second release of the Fercullen Estate series has been released. After the first bottling was bottled in honour of the "Mill House", the second bottling now honours the Italian garden of the Powerscourt Estate. This garden forms the heart of the Powerscourt Garden. The terraces of the garden were designed in such a way that one has a wide view over the landscape from Powerscourt Garden to Sugarloaf Mountain.
This release was put together by John Cashman, the Head of Whiskey, who has worked with Noel Sweeney for a long time. He was now able to bring his knowledge to this whiskey. He chose a 19-year-old single malt whiskey that was transferred to Amarone casks in 2017 to give the whiskey a nice finish. This single malt whiskey was then married with a 12-year-old single grain whiskey to complete the whiskey.
This symbolizes the harmonious interplay of the different designs and the perfect nature of the Italian garden.
