Stout lovers, pay attention: For their latest release, the Powerscourt Distillery in County Wicklow entered into a collaboration with the local brewery O Brother Brewing. The result is Fercullen Select Opus One 13 year old single grain with a 17-month finish in the brewery's stout beer barrels. A flavor-intensive whiskey with 56.6 & ABV cask strength that has lots of chocolate, nut and roasted aromas. These intense aromas from the stout cask finish come out clearly, but harmonize perfectly with the single grain. A whiskey that picks you up at exactly the right point.
