In addition to Blackwater Stardust Spicebag Irish Peated Rye, we have another single cask from the distillery in our range for you. With Blackwater Planxty Wilcox, the distillery celebrates traditional Irish pot still whiskey with a mixed mashbill of different grain varieties. Named after Blackwater Head Distiller John Wilcox, Blackwater Planxty Wilcox exudes the aromas of unmalted and malted barley as well as wheat, oats and rye. While the current definition of pot sill only allows for a total proportion of 5% additional grain, the proportions in this mixed mashbill are significantly higher. The whiskey, distilled in 2018, rested in a 2nd fill ex-rye cask. The distillery filled 450 bottles with 47.5% ABV.
