Blacks Spiced Rum is the first rum produced in Ireland. Sam Black, the owner of the distillery, is a passionate rum drinker. He had the vision of producing Ireland's first rum and he succeeded. For the production, molasses from Guatemala was fermented, distilled and matured in barrels in Kinsale. Seven spices were also added, including vanilla, cinnamon and cloves.
