Light, malty, and with citrus notes, Glenturret Single Malt is one of the insider tips for connoisseurs – available to discover on the German market starting today via Kirsch Import. The door to the Highland distillery's 2024 release is opened by Glenturret Triple Wood, a smooth, sweet, and fruity whisky. Smoke fans will enjoy Glenturret 10 yo Peat Smoked, which blends dried apple with vanilla, sea salt, and peat smoke.
The Glenturret 12 yo unfolds rich notes of dried fruit, warm spice, sweet vanilla, and dark fruit. It has been matured extensively in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, among others.
The wooden-cased bottlings of "The Extremely Scarce" series spend even more time in the cask. The Glenturret 25 yo matured in cask types ranging from butt to firkin, resulting in a complex whisky with subtle notes of pineapple, spiced with cinnamon and ginger.
Among other places, the proud Glenturret 30 yo developed its profile characterized by spices, raisins, citrus fruits and toasted oak in the Port Pipe.
Discover a different side of Glenturret's raw spirit with Aberturret Gin. This complex London Dry combines a malted barley base with 13 botanicals to create an experience that was recently awarded a Gold Medal at the 2024 World Gin Awards.
Description
At the Barvick Burn, where the Highlands rise, lies what is possibly Scotland's oldest working distillery. The Glenturret Distillery was first documented in 1763. However, whisky was likely distilled on the site many years before that. The low, whitewashed buildings of the small distillery house just two copper stills, wooden washbacks, a historic malt mill, and more. Production is largely carried out in the same way as it was 250 years ago. Above all: by hand and heart.Light, malty, and with citrus notes, Glenturret Single Malt is one of the insider tips for connoisseurs – available to discover on the German market starting today via Kirsch Import.
