The Glentauchers 1995/2024 is a rare single malt that starts with aromas ranging from coffee beans to cinnamon and berries from the sherry cask. This type of cask also underlines the heavy character of an underdog: the Benrinnes 1994/2024 combines butterscotch, raspberry jam and roasted hazelnuts.

Another example of a highly valued whisky, but rare as a single malt: the Tomatin 1993/2024. 30 years in the sherry puncheon gave it notes of peanut brittle, mandarin and ginger. Matured for almost the same length of time in the Andalusian barrel, the powerful Highlander Balblair 1993/2024 is characterized by berries, syrup and black pepper. The senior of the group spent a full 37 years in the bourbon barrel: the Glenglassaugh 1986/2024 is bursting with banana, white chocolate and oak spice.
