Special features: The Distillery Edition 2024 is the sixth edition of the series, published annually since 2019, which pays tribute to the distillery's Great House – a historic villa dating back to 1779. This blend combines rums from three different vintages and several Hampden Marques, impressing with a complex combination of fresh mint notes, tropical fruitiness, mineral accents and rich raisin aromas.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Complex and exciting with mint, ripe mango and dry earth, followed by quince jelly and blackberry and orange marmalade.
• Palate: Clear and lively, tropical with notes of coconut, mango and passion fruit, complemented by chocolate drops, slate and peppermint tea.
• Finish: Full-bodied and invigorating with herbaceous, peppery notes, red fruits and marshmallow, leading to an intense finish with cranberry and raisin notes.

Distillery/Bottler: Hampden Estate was founded in 1753 in the Trelawny region of Jamaica, an area considered the "Grand Cru" of Jamaican rum. The distillery is known for its pure single pot still rums with highly aromatic ester profiles, created through traditional production methods such as wild yeast fermentation and at least eight years of tropical barrel aging. This extensive experience and rigorous production methods give the bottlings their characteristic, intense flavor.
